| The soils stabilization
using lime and / or cement can be applied whenever ground
layers predominantly muddy and / or clayey must be consolidated,
both on site and carried over, in order to obtain even surfaces
with high stable bearing capacity.
This treatment allows the stabilization of
the worked material, making it no sensible in volumetric terms
to water and frost-thaw actions, ensuring the supporting of
significant loads.
Stabilization replaces the traditional methodology
which consists of clayey materials removal (considered waste)
and refusal transport, and next of replacement with inert
gravelly materials, poorly available and increasingly expensive.
